Eagerly waiting for your response Position : Computer Vision Engineer Location : Lincolnshire, IL Duration : 9 Months Rate : $50/hr Job Description : We focuses on advanced development and application of emerging edge sensing, artificial intelligence, and workflow optimization technologies in innovative end-to-end system prototypes to solve real-world problems and advance these systems into new businesses. This intern position is with our artificial intelligence group, whose expertise includes machine learning, computer vision, image analysis, natural language processing, embedded systems, and cloud computing. What you will do: Working with members of our team, you will develop 3D computer vision algorithms and their software implementations to enhance our systems that provide insights to improve our customers’ operations. You will contribute to creating innovative solutions that leverage 3D sensors, image sensors, computer vision and machine learning software libraries and frameworks. Basic Qualifications: BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Working towards an MS or PhD. degree concentrated in machine learning and computer vision. Specific Knowledge/Skills: • Graduate-level studies in machine/deep learning, computer vision, and image/video signal processing. • Proficiency in C, C++ programming languages is required. • Solid foundation in machine learning, including latest advances in deep neural networks and on turning machine learning technologies into practical system implementations. • Solid foundation in computer vision; key areas of interest include 3D computer vision, multiple view geometry, visual SLAM, and object detection, tracking & recognition. • Solid foundation in software development process and tools. Proficient in Pytorch or TensorFlow, Python, C++. • Experience using OpenCV for computer vision and image analysis algorithm development. • Experience with PCL, OpenNI, and 3D depth sensors is a plus. • Experience with CUDA drivers, GPU programming, Linux architecture and Robotic OS is a plus. • Programming experience on Android platforms is a plus. • Strong teamwork, communication skills, passion, creativity, productivity & learning agility. DAY2DAY CV or AI algorithms + software development for specific use case – specifically animally detection. Candidate will be conducting experiments, reviewing statistical performance. Goal is to bring research work into production, working with other engineering teams. START DATE: Early SEPT – they want to start interviewing ASAP. INTERVIEWS: Video interview + online coding test (Python or C++) MUST HAVE CV knowledge, 1-2 years of actual working experience.
