Position: QA Engineer
Location: New York, Hybrid
Skills: QA, Automation, Selenium, UAT, QTP
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate requirements and define testing objectives and approaches; manage testing tools and environments, test preparation, execution, and automation.
• Continuous review and improvement of the testing and quality assurance methodologies and measurement of these processes.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore QA teams.
• Participates in operational readiness review including pre- and post- implementation to ensure a successful business system solution for the client.
Required skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience or certification.
• 5+ years experience in quality assurance.
• 3+ testing method/testing tool/programming languages/technology environments.
• Demonstrated skill to proactively resolve issues and escalate appropriately.
• Experience in supporting all quality assurance tasks in the software engineering process. Demonstrated experience in test automation (scripting, onboarding to pipeline and maintenance) with Python and Selenium based automation framework.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL required.
• Demonstrated experience with testing APIs and Web Services.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills, technical ability and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to Lead local and international teams.
• TOSCA automation experience preferred
• Detail-oriented, organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with release testing, sign-off and deployment methods.
• Experience in multi-asset class, market data and analytical data preferred.
