Job Summary:
The Sr. DevOps Engineer I will take a lead role in the implementation and enhancement of our organization’s DevOps practices and tools, ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our systems
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• May provide guidance to junior and mid-level members of the DevOps team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the implementation and enhancement of advanced DevOps processes and tools.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems.
• Automate intricate tasks to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Lead the deployment of critical applications, ensuring seamless integration.
• Drive the monitoring and optimization of system performance at an advanced level.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level members of the DevOps team.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the overall DevOps strategy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Advanced understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Proficient in scripting languages and advanced automation tools.
• Extensive experience with version control systems and advanced continuous integration tools.
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Significant experience in DevOps or a related role, typically 7+ years.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
