Our client is looking to hire a Senior Network and Cloud Engineer. The ideal candidate will validate solution design for strategic initiatives, from Network and Azure capabilities perspective. He\ She will prepare Networking\ Azure & Multi-Cloud models, roadmaps, blueprints and work with IT Leadership within office across Canada. The incumbent will lead strategic transformational initiatives for Azure, evaluate tools and provide technical oversight over RFP processes with an Azure component.
Requirements:
• A university degree in computer science or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Azure Cloud design & management, including experience with large scale implementations.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting network, server, storage, backups, firewall, router, switch configuration and virtualization platform
• Must have over 7 years of experience supporting network infrastructure, monitoring, and remediating issues for firewalls
• Knowledge of modern IAM, middleware, micro-service architecture and asset management solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, ensuring deadlines are met on time and on budget
• Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Must be adaptive to technical change and be able and willing to acquire new skills to support new business application
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Organizational and leadership skills
