Software QA Engineer (C++) London / Hybrid Full-time, permanent £40,000 - £50,000 Harrington Starr have partnered with a revolutionary FinTech who provide invaluable products to the global systematic trading community to hire a Software QA Engineer. Joining their London HQ, This role would see the successful individual eventually take internal ownership of one of the firm’s products in testing and dev terms. This new full-time, permanent position is a unique opportunity for someone with 1 – 3 years’ experience within Financial Services or FinTech as this role would see equal parts Testing / Development & Programming / Platform Setup and Configuration. Core Responsibilities • Contribute to the development of automated test tools, and continually improve the quality of releases on the full range of the company’s comprehensive technical portfolio • Analyse, define, and implement test cases to ensure thorough tests of our products • Become an expert in low-latency, high-performance software and hardware products • Learn to be SME of company products and provide technical support to a highly specialised client base • Involvement in pre-sales technical support • Maintain complete test coverage and meeting functional and non-functional requirements Qualifications • 1 - 3 years’ experience in a dedicated QA or Testing role involving some dev / programming (development experience can also be academic) • Knowledge of C++ is essential – Python knowledge is also highly advantageous • Working background in Financial Services or FinTech (Trading experience is desirable) • Test automation experience (Jenkins) • API testing knowledge • Knowledge of TCP Protocol would be an advantage, but not essential To apply for this Software QA Engineer (C++) job opportunity simply click apply below.
