We are looking to hire a Principal Architect – Security to work in the Advanced Engineering division within the CTO office responsible for future technology scouting and technology road mapping.
Key Responsibilities
• Support sales pursuits and develop costed proposals
• Facilitate the gathering and analysis of required information to document business requirements and turn these requirements into secure technical solutions
• Collaborate with a wide range of domain architects to develop secure architectures to protect our clients
• Prepare high level designs, support domain engineers with low level design and implementation
• Support project managers, providing technical/security governance over projects
• Maintain an ecosystem of partners and vendors that support our security practice
• Knowledge of both Hardware and Software security with a focus on software security as role requires leading virtual architecture teams responsible of reviewing product designs from security perspective
• Monitor and research industry information sources for zero-day threats and emerging security trends and vulnerabilities impacting the technologies we use
• Your key stakeholders will be our development and infrastructure engineers, QA team, product/project managers, and clients.
Technical Requirements
Candidates must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards as well as security controls.
Experience & Education Qualifications
• Degree level qualification in a Computer Science or related field
• 15 years+ of progressive experience in designing embedded security solutions in complex or sensitive environments
Key Skills
Must be able to demonstrate experience with:
• Developing secure architectures within the following environments:
• Governments - especially Defence and Law Enforcement
• Utilities, Oil and Gas - especially Operational Networks
• Financial Services
• Using frameworks to identify gaps in existing security architecture and propose appropriate solutions
• Intimate knowledge of the “kill chain” and solutions; people, process or technology at all levels to mitigate threats
• Familiarity with Agile processes and JIRA
• Experience of ethical hacking practices, and ability to probe internally developed software for vulnerabilities
• Familiar with C, C++, Rust and possibly VHDL languages
• Ability to work with minimal day to day direction and must be personally motivated to continually learn new, emerging technologies
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams
Certification Requirements:
You'll come from an enterprise security architecture background, with excellent stakeholder management skills. The desired certifications are the following:

• SANS Certifications
• CISM
• CPTE or CEH
• GIAC
