We are searching for a Sr Android developer to join our team.
As a Fullstack Android Developer, you will join our technology team to help create a physical / digital product for an exciting fitness project. You will bring technology to the creative process, working alongside cross-discipline design teams
You are well-versed in the Android platform and tools while also having familiarity with custom hardware. You will provide code that is flexible and are up-to-date with the latest standards. Working alongside designers and strategists, you will be excited by exploration and experimentation, and will be involved in co-creating ideas that we bring to life for users.
Naturally You'll Have
• At least 3 to 5 years full-time or freelance experience
• Proficiency with Android development and familiarity with tablet development
• Experience with Python and/or Ruby and their respective frameworks (Django / Flask/ Ruby on Rails)
• Experience working with databases such as Mysql, Dynamodb, Postgresql etc.
• Experience of AWS infrastructure and suite of products
• Experience working with designers and stakeholders to inform feasibility and understand requirements for implementation
• Familiarity working with hardware such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi and custom microcontrollers
• Experience with developing IoT products
• Ability to execute pixel perfect UI designs
Nice To Haves
• Familiarity on working with bluetooth connectivity
• Familiarity on working with serial connectivity
• Experience with GraphQL
• Understanding of agile processes
• Knowledge of architecture and design patterns like flux/redux, BEM, or mvvvm/mvc
• Familiarity with Typescript and the latest ECMAscript versions
• Familiarity with Docker
