Job Description:
• Design and develop JSON-based RESTful web services and enhance existing web services with web APIs (REST, RPC).
• Good knowledge of software design principles – OOD, OOP, TDD, SOLID, and GoF Patterns – including experience with software development methodologies.
Technical Skills:
• Design and develop JSON-based RESTful web services and enhance existing web services with web APIs (REST, RPC).
• Good knowledge of software design principles – OOD, OOP, TDD, SOLID, and GoF Patterns – including experience with software development methodologies.
• Ability to communicate the design and implementation of software systems including relevant strengths/weaknesses and reasons for implementation decisions.
• 5+ years of .NET coding experience and C#, including ASP.NET 4.0 and 4.5 frameworks., ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns
• Strong data modeling and SQL Server experience, MSSQL data management including stored procedures, views, indexing, table functions, and performance
• Data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines as part of the overall application architecture.
• Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, jQuery
• Experience writing automated unit test and integration tests
• Understanding of web hosting and basic server administration
• Understanding of Agile software development principles along with experience participating in a scrum-based delivery team
• Knowledge of Telerik Kendo UI is added advantage
• 3 years of experience with TFS version control, automatic deployments
• ability to facilitate change management with teams
• Ability to work within diverse, global, virtual teams
Functional :
Exposure to either of Insurance, Surety, Financial Services domains, Requirement gathering, Agile Scrum project experience
