FULL-STACK/FRONT-END DEVELOPER
3 MONTH CONTRACT
LONDON (CENTRAL) - 1 DAY A WEEK IN OFFICE
£400 PER DAY (OUTSIDE IR35)
The Company
A new start-up is creating an LLM model, that will give improvements to overall sentence structure, depending on target audience.
Example - the software would be able to help you re-word an essay you were writing using Word for a piece of academic coursework. If you then change the settings to the model and told it you were writing a sports article for a football team, it would be able to provide recommendations for your sentences to suit the target market of who you are writing for.
THE PROJECT
They have hired someone to start building the LLM, but now need someone who can bring the front end to life and integrate the model into the Microsoft Suite and beyond. This is entirely greenfield, so they want you to guide how this is done and go through your own approach to do this.
We are looking for a developer who can bring the front end of our idea to life. The application will work in the background and prompt the user, integrating with Microsoft Office and other Windows applications like Slack and WhatsApp, and run on desktop and mobile devices. The front-end application will make API calls to a separately developed back-end application.
As part of this, they will be keen to hear about any:
• Experience across MS Office integration
• Experience developing text-based user interfaces
• Building a front-end application for a text-based system, in this case a Large Language Model
Tools/Skills
• Experience developing and migrating Office 365 add-ins (Outlook, Word, Teams etc.)
• Emphasis on Microsoft Outlook initially
• Commercial experience with React, JavaScript, .NET, Angular, Web APIs
Soft Skills
• Good communication and personable - can explain daily activities to non-tech leads
