My client is hiring its first QA Engineer to help migrate and build consumer facing high traffic products from the ground up - Does this sound like you? Pretty impressive! This is a 100% hands-on role and fully-remote that will grow into a leadership role as the company grows. What You'll Do: • Own the whole QA process throughout the projects, including end-user requirements, writing and executing automated test cases, monitor testing progress, reporting status, logging defects, track and test defect fixes, etc • Perform regression testing every week using automation Scripts using ( • Strong experience with API and Service testing • Work in AGILE software development using SCRUM/Agile methodologies, be part of sprint planning, estimates, Retro and Demo • Play lead role in certifying releases with highest quality • Validate product configuration settings on each environment (dev, integration and Production) • Be the company-wide SME on test automation practices using Cypress and/or PlayWright • Work closely with Engineering and most importantly with Product and other non-tech stakeholders What You'll Bring: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, EE, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior QA Engineer or QA Engineer in the IT and Development industry • Experience building test automation practices and procedures from scratch • Expert in test automation - Cypress and/or PlayWright • Complete knowledge of software development methodologies and processes • Excellent understanding of different types of testing such as Accessibility Testing, Black Box Testing, Mobile and Interactive Testing • Knowledge of SQL, scripting, HTML5, DB2, and XML • Javascript experience is preferred • Unix/Linux experience • Must have cloud experience (GCP preferred, others are ok - AWS, Azure, Oracle, etc) • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple projects On Offer: • Base salary up to $160k • Bonus • Stock options • Great benefits Please be advised we CANNOT do any kind of visa transfer or sponsorship - please do not apply if you need any visa assistance.
