Position: SQL Server DBA
Location: NYC, NY– Hybrid
Fulltime
Salary - $100 to $120k per annum + benefits
Job Description:
A candidate with10+ years of relevant experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration in a production environment, Knowledge of database migrations is preferred.
Technical Skills:
• Strong experience with configuration and advance features of SQL Server 2008, SQL 2012, SQL 2016, SQL 2019
• Hands on Experience with database migration and maintenance on AWS.
• Solid skills in database performance tuning, optimizing queries and stored procedures.
• Strong experience with SQL Server clusters with multiple nodes on each cluster, mirroring, log shipping, always-on and other methods of disaster recovery
• Migration of SQL Server databases from one platform to another
• Experience with SSIS packages and SSRS
• Knowledge of SAN, data loading, security, capacity planning, backup and recovery
• Experience in database auditing and financial industry experience is a plus.
