IT Network Engineer - 6 month Daily Rate/FTC - Hybrid (Syd)
This role operates within a global team addressing BAU Operations and project needs from a network and security perspective. The role will further support our Cyber Security team and will need experience to resolve any identified security threats in an enterprise environment.
The Role
• Monitoring of network and security infrastructure using various monitoring tools.
• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
• Configure and install network monitoring software, switches, routers, APs and other network devices.
• Troubleshooting complex system and network related problems
• Work as a project resource for any network and/or security stream of deliverables
Experience
• Understanding of network operating systems, Meraki and Palo Alto in particular.
• Understanding LAN, WAN, VLANs and WLANs.
• Understanding of routing protocols ex: (OSPF, BGP RIPv2).
• Knowledge of different WAN technologies, topologies, and configurations required for
deployment (SDWAN, MPLS, LL, 5G/LTE).
• Experience configuring networking in a public cloud, specifically Azure with an understanding of how to
configure vNET, SNET, NSG, Peering, subnetting, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute
• Experience working in an Azure Environment
