The Senior Digital & IT Manager will be reporting to the Applications Lead. This will role lead the organisation's technology and data efforts by identifying and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital technologies into various business processes, optimizing workflows and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend strategic initiatives to keep the organisation at the forefront of digital innovation.
Responsibilities
• Project Facilitation and Management (in Digital and Data Management):
• Act as the primary point of contact to provide technology-related inputs during project ideation, needs assessment and project delivery.
• Offer a technology perspective for business, showcasing how can be leveraged to deliver value.
• Prioritize activities based on value and actively engage with decision-makers throughout the end-to-end process, from creative ideation to delivery on digital, insights and analytics and other technology assets.
• Drive the identification and implementation of technologies and solutions.
• Review project documentation (eg. Requirement Specifications/Use Case Specifications)
• Ensure alignment with customer requirements and conformity to quality management process standards, minimizing rework.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
• Lead discussions with key stakeholders to facilitate requirement gathering sessions.
• Conduct reviews and walkthroughs to ensure clarity and alignment with customer needs.
• Collect, analyse and formalise business requirements and processes from users.
• Evaluate the feasibility of implementation for gathered requirements.
• Effectively manage project scope to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify gaps and formulate sustainable solutions aligned with current business priorities and vision.
• User Engagement and Solution Adoption:
• Ensure users' education on the solution and monitor adoption to maximize the benefits of implemented solutions.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Digital and Data Management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and strategic technology implementation
• Familiar with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in Digital and Data Management
• In-depth knowledge of digital technologies, data management and analytics
• Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering projects on time and within scope
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex solutions and provide innovative solutions
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Knowledge of data protection regulations and experience ensuring organisational compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
