Role Description:
• Understanding business requirements: The SAP Solution Architect PP works with key stakeholders to understand the organization's production planning and control needs. They identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to existing systems or the implementation of new systems.
• Designing and developing solutions: Based on business requirements, the SAP Solution Architect PP designs and develops solutions using SAP technologies such as SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP MRP (Material Requirements Planning). They collaborate with other SAP architects, developers, and project teams to ensure that the solutions meet the organization's needs.
• Conducting testing and validation: The SAP Solution Architect PP conducts testing and validation of the solutions to ensure that they function as intended and meet the business requirements.
• Providing technical guidance: The SAP Solution Architect PP provides technical guidance and support to project teams, developers, and other stakeholders. They ensure that the solutions are aligned with best practices and comply with organizational standards.
• Managing project timelines and budgets: The SAP Solution Architect PP manages project timelines and budgets related to the development and implementation of SAP solutions. They monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensuring compliance: The SAP Solution Architect PP ensures that the SAP solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Essential Skills
• Proven expertise driving complex SAP transformation projects with best practices of SAP S/4HANA Implementations and change management
• Good understanding of Production processes; Customer management must be the forte (Business workshop organizing, Testing support, Problem Solving, etc).
• Hands on configuration and testing experience on SAP PP/PI. Experience in Process, sub-process / process flow design and system design
• Good understanding of other SAP Lines of Business / SAP Modules from integration with PP/PI perspective
• Desirable to have technical skills to understand the technical nuances which are required to develop a new action
• Should possess excellent Communication / Presentation skills

• Make-to-Order Production - Finished Goods Sales and Final Assembly
