As a key member of the Customer Success Insights team, the Manager, Data Analytics Engineering delivers the build of advanced analytics assets (multi-touch attribution). The purpose of the role is CSI with data and analytics assets for end-to-end insights (across channels, across touchpoints, powering insights and reporting)
The Manager, Data Analytics Engineering will be responsible for building and developing advanced analytics assets, e.g. Multi-touch Attribution (MTA), aligned to AOP objectives and business strategy.
You will work with stakeholders across the entire business, in both Agile and non-Agile environments, to drive required advanced analytics assets. This will involve interactions with stakeholders at SLT level.
You will train, coach & mentor peers and aspiring Analytics Engineers to help build a pipeline of emerging talent and raise the levels of capability within the team to meet the desired standard.
About you
• Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Engineering, Data Science) or equivalent practical experience
• SQL certifications
• Python, Java, C++ certifications
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated exposure to a variety of data related roles within an organisation
• Experience in data environment
• Working with cloud-based data solutions
• Telecommunications, technology, or Financial Services experience
• Internal or external consulting experience preferred
• Experience in complex stakeholder management to align across around a common set of goals and influence business outcomes
• Experience working with relational databases and data lakes, with an emphasis on data warehousing, performance tuning, and analytics use cases
• Demonstrated ability in advanced SQL, particularly in modelling and querying optimisations
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ETL/data pipeline development experience
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Experience working with modern engineering practices (git, tests)
• Previous Database administrator experience
• Proven analytical skills developed from experience in similar roles
• Experience in advanced analytics
