500+ staff, global software product company (UK HQ), seeks experienced AWS focused DevOps Engineer, with particular experience in the Security side of things (IAM / WAF, DevSecOps, etc) to join the highly experienced Devops & Platform engineering team.

Title: Devops Engineer. May be known as: DevSecOps Engineer. AWS Security focused DevOps Engineer.
Salary: £85K Basic + 10% Bonus + Benefits package (25 days holiday, private pension scheme; matched up to 6%, Private health care for free, etc)
Location: London office, but largely irrelevant – 100% work from home role, if you wish. Generally, our teams do like to meet up 1 day per month in the London office – so this would be ideal. However, we can be flexible on this & it's not an absolute.
You will be working on a Pure Cloud SAAS offering in AWS and your role will be to provide your expertise in security related AWS services and processes that we utilise in the platform. This is a hands-on role where the successful candidate will be actively working on further enhancing our security position by creating / updating infrastructure as code.
What we’d need to see in your skill set to be considered:
- Extensive experience working with AWS services and solutions.
- Strong background in security principles and best practices (from a Devops / coder point of view)
- Sound understanding of git and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker / Helm, etc)
Any Security focused certifications are a plus. Such as: AWS Certified Security Specialty / Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) / Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Other AWS certifications also a plus of course!
