Responsibilities:
Refactor and review existing code base
Hands-on application maintenance and development with a strong focus in CodeIgniter
Deliver packaged code ready for a production environment on a reoccurring basis
Integrate third party integrations with our web-based application platform
Document and track requirements for developing projects and enhancements
Participate in the development of database architecture and user interface design
Qualifications:
Expertise in creating architecture and developing advanced web applications
Expertise in PHP5(CodeIgnitor), MYSQL/MariaDB, JavaScript, jQuery development experience
Expertise in writing applications and expose them as APIs
Expertise in designing UI/UX for web pages
Expertise in designing DB structures
Experience with Swagger or Postman
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, strong communication, passion for quality and attention to detail
Comfortable delivering quality work under tight timelines and Agile release cycles
Start Date
As soon as all necessary documents are received (asap). All positions are remote.
Hours and Pay
This is a paid opportunity, pay negotiable, but we can also exchange for class credit. Hours are flexible. We are ideally looking for someone who can dedicate 30-40 hours per week for 4-6 months (6 months preferred).
