Our client is from the insurance industry who is actively seeking a skilled Data Analyst Manager to join their team. They are in search of an individual with a strong background in data analysis, a passion for leveraging insights to drive strategic decisions, leveraging data analytics techniques, and financial reporting expertise to deliver valuable insights aimed at improving overall financial. Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of data analysts to extract, clean, and analyze data for actionable insights.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand data needs and provide analytical support for key business decisions.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize insurance processes and improve customer experience.
• Utilize statistical methods and tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within insurance data.
• Create and execute automated procedures for monitoring management analysis linked to financial metrics. Utilize PowerBI's data visualization tools to generate interactive dashboards and reports for overseeing business performance.
• Create and present comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics and financial analysis, with a demonstrated history of successful data management, ideally within the insurance sector.
• Proven experience in data analysis within the insurance or financial industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate across departments.
• Solid grasp of database concepts, data modelling, ETL processes, business intelligence principles, and data management tools.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, Databricks on Azure Cloud, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Solid understanding of insurance processes and regulations.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin is an advantage
