Plexus have partnered with a pioneering AI technology firm who are specialising in speaker verification. We are currently searching for a passionate and experienced machine learning specialist who has particular expertise in speech science.
The role
We are looking for someone who can be direct and proactive in developing models focusing on speaker verification applications. You will be actively contributing to their mission which is to deliver solutions in speaker recognition for resource-constrained environments.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a range of dynamic teams to integrate features into devices.
• Design, apply and optimise machine learning pipelines.
• Conduct data analysis research to target different hardware platforms.
• Work closely with software engineers to deploy and improve machine learning models.
• Develop and debug production-quality code.
• Have familiarity with continuous integration models and unit test development.
• Have a scientific approach and ability to design experiments and training frameworks.
Requirements:
• MSc or PhD in Computer science, Machine Learning, speech science or similar fields.
• Proven track record and experience in developing machine learning models for voice biometrics, speaker recognition, and speech modelling
• Have 4+ years' experience using Python frameworks.
• Strong understanding of signal processing techniques.
• An understanding of deep learning architectures (TDNN and RCNN).
• A bonus if you have managerial skills.
