Role Description We are seeking a full-time Mobile Application Developer to develop and maintain user-friendly mobile applications for our patients and healthcare providers. This is a full-time role, based primarily in our Cambridge office. The Mobile Application Developer will work to design, build, and deploy mobile applications across multiple platforms, taking user feedback into account to ensure smooth navigation and optimal usability. Your Responsibilities: • Building interfaces to help the medical world benefit from our vision in digital therapeutics • Working with a close knit team of front end developers, data scientists and engineers in an agile environment • Ensuring consistency across platforms in our software • Piecing together five years of research and development to create a dynamic and robust product • Creating strong classes in both C++and Objective-C to feed our plugins and our API What You’ll Need: • A Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field • Evidence of mobile engineering ability. Ideally, with apps in production. • Experience coding in any of these: C++, Dar, Kotlin, Java, Swift/Objective-C. Knowledge of Flutter is good. • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrable excellence in at least one of these areas; mobile user experience design, robust data architectures, connectivity with external devices (BLE, WiFi, etc.) • Willingness to learn any gaps in your repertoire • Flexibility and agility in your approach to work • An entrepreneurial mindset; self-motivated and happy to work proactively to achieve what needs to be done • Ability to be a cross-disciplinary team member. You’re excited to learn a new skill and are able to communicate with colleagues in completely different disciplines Nice-to-Haves: • Experience writing automated tests • Previous relationship with the digital health or medical tech industry. • Takes user experience (UX) and accessibility into account when implementing functionality into applications. • Has worked with camera implementation in both iOS and Android applications • A demonstrable interest and/or experience working in digital health, digital therapeutics, or the medical technology industry in general Qualifications • Proficiency with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Experience with React, Redux, and related front-end frameworks • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building them • Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL • Experience with Node.js and related back-end frameworks • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field • Experience with healthcare technology, machine learning, and Big Data is a plus • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Salary dependant on experience Company Description electronRx is a UK-based deep tech company that develops novel chronic disease and hospital patient management solutions aimed at paving the way for personalised digital medicine.
