SR2 has been engaged by one of the leading consultancies in the public sector space to support them on the next phase of a central gov project. As such, we are looking for a Cloud Architect on an initial, fully remote, 6-month contract inside IR35.
This project will see the migration of several on-prem applications to the cloud, designing hybrid cloud architecture in AWS, integrating systems and applications and designing and implementing security and compliance principles and protocols.
The project is at the very early stages so it poses a fantastic opportunity for someone to come on board and get stuck in from the get-go, significantly impacting the future of this project.
Due to the nature of the project, we require all applicants to be SC Cleared or at least, be eligible for SC Clearance
Skills / Experience
On-prem migration experience
AWS experience
5+ years working as an Architect, designing and implementing systems and applications.
Experience working across the architectural lifecycle from solutions to enterprise would be ideal
Strong stakeholder management experience
Public Sector and ideally, SC Clearance.This will be an inside IR35, 6-month rolling contract on a fully remote basis.
