The Opportunity:
The UK’s fastest-growing Fintech Challenger Bank seeks a high-performing Golang Engineer to help support the E2E design, build, and deployment of Go-based solutions across its award-winning banking platform and future services.
Launching to great success in 2020, the application empowers customers to transact seamlessly with fiat or cryptocurrencies and offers innovative features such as buying and selling foreign currency at interbank rates while securing the guaranteed best crypto prices across multiple exchanges.
Founded by the former CTO of the world's first Cloud-Native Banking Application in 2018 and with a Senior Leadership team comprising ex-Monzo, Revolut and Coinbase alumni, the Bank continues to go from strength to strength as it enters a new round of funding and continues to scale.
Required Skills Experience:
• Previously worked in a Start-Up/Scale Up Engineering environment
• High-level Golang programming, adept at developing reusable and testable code.
• Strong background in PostgreSQL and database design.
• Knowledgeable in Cloud Native principles and Twelve Factor Application development.
• Thrives in small, high-profile tech teams, ideally with FinTech/banking/payments experience.
• Skilled in distributed, event-driven microservices architectures.
• Proven track record in designing low-latency, highly available, and performant applications.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and proficiency in containerization.
• Embraces the end-to-end ownership philosophy - "design, build, deploy, and monitor."
