Our anti-fraud platform provides a secure way for professionals in regulated sectors like Lawyers, Estate Agents and Accountants to transfer funds and verify sensitive information through app based document checks, facial recognition and open banking. We are FCA regulated and have raised over $25m in capital from leading Fintech investors Breega and Element Ventures, as well as the founders of Zoopla, Funding Circle, Comply Advantage, Tessian, Fenergo and Fidel. Mobile Engineering at Thirdfort At Thirdfort, we’re working to build an outstanding Engineering culture that empowers our team to do their best work. We also have a mobile team that build out native iOS & Android mobile apps which are the key consumer facing interface, the focus for this role. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Mobile team within the Engineering function and contribute to the building out of our iOS app in particular, the in-progress re-write. Our Product and Tech teams are remote first and so this individual can be based anywhere in the UK. This does not mean though that our remote first team aren’t welcome in our London and Manchester offices as we value the times when we can come together in person. Ultimately we trust our team to work in the way that suit them best. Has experience and understanding with the tech stack that includes: • Swift • SwiftUI • Ideally Combine framework • Ideally Swift Concurrency • Ideally MVVM Design Pattern We're looking for someone who: • Has experience in working with legacy projects, identifying bottlenecks and suggesting improvements • Can independently & collaboratively craft testable solutions for advanced app features on the iOS platform • Is customer-centric and works well with product owners, designers and other stakeholders. • Can spike unknowns well and understand and help build out requirements alongside business • Is a great communicator and decision maker that understands the commercial impact of technical and design decisions. • Is a humble worker, strong team player and knows how to get the best out of others. • Has wisdom - strong opinions weakly held. The ability to argue your corner but give it up easily when consensus is against you even if you're right. • Has deep understanding on how best to work with Internal APIs including 3rd party services • Can demonstrate enthusiasm for engineering and has a flexible, lean and nimble approach to building software.
