SQL DBA with Banking experience, NY / Hybrid, 1+ Year
NYC - Hybrid - 3 days onsite
We need: A senior (10+ years) SQL DBA with RECENT experience working in Banking or Financial services. The client likes candidates with good tenure and long projects in the NY/NJ area. This will move fast.
Candidates must be LOCAL to the NEW YORK or NEW JERSEY area and COMMUTE into the city THREE TIMES A WEEK in Midtown, NYC. NO RELOCATION CONSIDERED.
Minimum of 3 years experience with MS SQL Server and prior experience as a server database administrator or developer, with experience in a MS windows server environment required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Strong baseline of Microsoft SQL. Extensive knowledge of developing, deploying an optimal SQL Server environment
Efficient with data backup and disaster recovery topology and deployment, MSWF clusters, SQL, security, encryption, auditing, optimization, troubleshooting, version upgrades/controls, installations
TSQL, DDL, DML, DMV, Sys Objects, ETLs, PowerShell, including the ability to read and write complex procedures, triggers and functions
Excellent Troubleshooting skills, Erwin EStudio, Solar Winds and Tableau
Effective knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server applications: SSMS, SSIS (including Catalogs), Visual studios (DTSX, RDLs extensive ETL processes), SSRS, SSAS, DTA, Profiler, Traces, P, R and monitors, Resource governor, Policy management
