Position/Role : Business Analyst– Compliance Work Location : Onsite,Abu Dhabi (UAE) Contract duration : 6 Month(extendable) This is a key role and forms thebridge between the Business team and IT team. This role has theresponsibility to execute the strategies for the bank in amulti-jurisdiction environment. As such, it needs deepunderstanding of Compliance requirements from global and countryspecific regulators and its impact on technologysolutions. Implementation of solutions aroundAML and FATCA/CRS. Understanding the existingsolutions of the bank in compliance transactions monitoringdomain. Interacting with business and assistthe project team to implement the identifiedsolution. Interacting with internal IT teamsand drive the initiative to successfulgo-live. Interacting with vendor teams tounderstand intricacies of the software and come out with solutionsto provide business benefits Responsible foridentifying the key data requirement, data mappings, and coresystem enhancements for projectimplementation. Ensure effectiveness inreporting through functional data validation and confirmation thatthe output generated and produced from the system is complete,reconciled against source systems. Participatein all project related activities with regards to requirementsgathering, planning, implementation, as well as system &user acceptance testing. Responsible for enduser training and ensuring the required knowledge transfer to keyteam members is set in place.
Key Accountabilities:
Active participation in therequirement sessions with business andvendor. Understand and document processesrelating to compliance regulations and policies from jurisdictionof operations. Lead the functional validationand reconciliation of data against source systems. Checkinformation, identify data breaks, and liaise with teams to ensuretimely rectification of data extracts provided from differentsources. Identify system functionality and actas a focal point, coordinate with team members, and liaise with allstakeholders regarding subject relatedmatters. Conceptualize solutions for therequirements raised by business teams and coordinate with vendorand IT teams to deliver them. Prepare testscenarios to check the functionalities delivered by the solutionand actively participate with the testing teams and businessstakeholders to comprehensively test thesolution
