Responsibilities: As a Blockchain Software/Protocol Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the core of our network. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing hands-on technical leadership
• Designing, developing, maintaining, and testing core protocols in the codebase
• Collaborating with our CTO, VP of Engineering, and other teams to design and plan projects
• Establishing team objectives and leading developers through agile sprints
• Encouraging engineering best practices
• Guiding and assisting in the development of skills and knowledge among the team
• Documenting protocol technical specifications
Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with:
• Technical understanding in blockchain or distributed systems
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing systems using Golang or Rust
• Experience with writing code dealing with asynchronicity and parallel-/multi-threaded computing
• 2+ years of experience in designing and developing protocols for byzantine-fault tolerant distributed systems
• 1+ years of experience in developing client and server-side code with GRPC and Protocol Buffers
• 1+ years of experience in maintaining KV databases (BadgerDB, RocksDB, or LevelDB)
• Engineering experience with cryptographic schemes (hash functions, signature schemes, symmetric and asymmetric encryption)
• Experience in creating project plans, roadmapping, and team objectives for long-term projects
• Experience in leading projects and guiding junior engineers
