Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware and Software Manager/Senior Executive
to lead our technology team at [Perfume Retailer/E-commerce Company]. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of all hardware
and software systems to ensure the seamless operation of our retail and e-commerce platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the hardware and software team in designing, developing, and implementing innovative
technology solutions to enhance the overall customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Manage the integration of hardware and software systems across all retail and e-commerce
channels, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and requirements, and
provide strategic recommendations for hardware and software enhancements.
- Oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of hardware and software projects, ensuring on-
time delivery and within allocated resources.
- Develop and implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance
with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for
hardware and software upgrades or advancements.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing hardware and software
team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree
preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the hardware and software domain, preferably
in the retail or e-commerce industry.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and software development methodologies, systems architecture,
and integration techniques.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex hardware
and software projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards for data security, privacy, and compliance.
