KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Liaison between client service managers, brokerage operations and Livingston clients to identify requirements for successful implementation, including reviewing current, and providing guidance on, but not limited to tariff base part number structure, Free Trade Agreements (FTA), and Participating/Other Government Agencies (PGA/OGD), etc. • Drives on establishing part database automation solutions including reviewing potential candidates, set-up Product Optimizer profiles, assist with team and client training, review of client data records and work instructions to ensure proper implementation, data load testing obtaining team signoff. • Managing and enhancing non-automated part database solutions, including review of client data files and work instructions, working with clients on obtaining correct information, managing data transfer to upload templates, data load testing, and uploading the data files. Where required, setting up Product Optimizer profiles to meet the data load requirements. • Working with the eCommerce and ICR Teams on shared accounts to ensure proper part structure and data requirements. • Identify opportunities for building up part databases and part automation prospects. • Identify and root cause issues with existing Product Optimizer, Evolve and/or LOCUS implementations and work with IT and Operations partners to effect improvements with the goal of increasing overall efficiency and accuracy. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the appropriate contacts within existing and prospective Product Optimizer, Evolve and/or LOCUS clients. • Provide technical support and assistance to the client service teams and external client on Livingston systems and tools. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 5+ Years related experience - An understanding of the various Government import requirements Participating/Other Government Agencies with focus on the following: for the U.S. PGA’s: U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), USDA APHIS Lacey Act and APHIS Core, Vehicle and Engines (EPA VNE) and Toxic Substances Control Act (EPA TSCA) or for Canadian OGD’s: Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), Global Affairs Canada (GAC), Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), Health Canada (HC), Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), Public Health Agency of Canada (OSC), and Transport Canada (TC). • With an understanding of Harmonized Tariffs (HS) and Free Trade Agreements with focus on USMCA/CUSMA. • Strong knowledge of MS office software (Word, Excel) – must be able to learn new concepts and applications quickly. Intermediate to advance Excel • - Utilize Excel and internal technical tools. • Exhibit an analytical ability to identify gaps, patterns, and opportunities. • Exceptional attention to detail – reviewing and working with data files. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while solving problems quickly and creatively. • Ability to comprehend technical details. • Exceptional customer service and demonstrated client engagement / management experience – must be comfortable speaking and leading meetings with both internal and external customers. • Stellar organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
