Key AccountabilitiesIdentify, qualify, structure and secure prospects as per ENGIE’s strategy.Developing and maintaining relationships with potential clients and stakeholders. Analysing and adjusting strategies in response to competitive activity. Identifying market needs and recommending appropriate business solutions. Generating leads and identifying potential business opportunities. Carry out proactive prospection on potential opportunities.Provide added value by establishing and organizing contacts with appropriate decision makers and influencers and securing follow-up meetings if required.Instruct and coordinate all development activities performed by internal and external resources.Provide detailed background information on key decision makers and influencers and relationships among them.Monitor and report on important political events that affect or might affect our current and/or future businesses.Monitor and report on important personnel moves and change of decision making or decision influencing power inside governmental and public entities. Business Understanding Good understanding of Power Generation (conventional and renewables), of BESS, of desalination, of the worlds of water and energy,.Energy and water regulatory frameworkGroup’s strategy visionGroup’s governance and ethical rules.LanguageStrong and excellent communication skill in English & Arabic.Degree / Experience University degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering.5 to 10 years of experience in the Energy sector, preferably in Middle East.Previous experience in Business Development or Stakeholder Management is preferred Specific Knowledge / skills Fluent in English and Arabic, knowledge of French is a plus.Power and gas technologies. Contract negotiation skills (EPC, PPA, Fuel Purchasing Agreements, SHA, Financing,)Highly experienced.
