Position Summary The Senior Technical Specialist operates with a high degree of autonomy, exercising independent judgment to resolve complex problems, performing incident and problem management. This position acts as the senior liaison between customers, departments and other technical teams to lead technology solutions strategy and delivery, acting as a lead for change management activities in their domain(s) of expertise; recommending and evaluating solutions and upgrades to existing technologies.
This role also contributes to the development of new and/or the improvement of existing policies and procedures, assisting with training of team members, and performing cross-functional and/or or other duties as assigned and/or the Power Platform Administrator role you will guide the enterprise adoption of the Microsoft Power Platform with a focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dynamics 365.

Duties Power Platform Specific
Responsibilities Act as the resident expert for Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)
Implement, configure and administer the CoE Starter Kit.
Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365 can be better leveraged and facilitate business process improvement.
Update, create, and maintain enterprise governance documentation and administration processes.
Lead and empower Citizen Developers and Power users to leverage the Power Platform in alignment with technology standards. Application Support Specific
Responsibilities Assist with managing, configuring and optimizing enterprise applications.
Coordinate and execute upgrades, patches and add-on installations to ensure alignment with enterprise and industry best practices.
Provide end user technical support as needed. Technology Solutions, Strategy and Architecture Lead continuous quality and process improvement initiatives.
Lead customer service in facilitation of end user meetings, clinical or business discussions or organize ad hoc meetings, as per end user availability. Incident and Problem Management Update the UHN Digital incident and problem management ticketing system on case status and resolution.
Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction while resolving all tangible problems, concerns or requests for information.

Qualifications Mandatory Education. Completion of a bachelors degree in Computer Science or recognized equivalent required.
Mandatory Certification. Minimum of two or more of the following technology certifications:
Microsoft Certified IT Professional, ITIL Practitioner Certificate (ITIL Practitioner), MCSA Certification, Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (PL-100/200/600)
Mandatory Qualification – At minimum, over 6 years practical and related experience and/or 2 years on-the job training required:
Applied knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform services, including in-depth understanding of capabilities, boundaries, and constraints.
Supporting enterprise applications, environment management, and issue resolution.
Strong Power Shell scripting abilities
Microsoft 365 experience in an enterprise environment with over 1000 end users
Practical and working knowledge of SDLC, ITIL, and Agile Frameworks.
Preferred experience managing or supporting Jira, Confluence and Bit Bucket.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to systematically analyze situations/issues, identify options, draw logical conclusions and determine/recommend practical courses of action.
