Job Title: Cloud/Web Developer
Location: London (Hybrid) couple days a week on site

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cloud/Web Developer with expertise in Azure, Java, PHP, SQL Server, and REST API to play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of the cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, cloud technologies, and a passion for creating scalable and efficient solutions. It would be advantageous if the candidate had a background of working within insurance.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define technical requirements for cloud-based applications.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable web applications using Java, PHP, SQL Server, and REST API.
• Implement and maintain cloud solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring optimal performance of applications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Cloud/Web Developer, with a focus on Azure, Java, PHP, SQL Server, and REST API.
• Strong proficiency in web development technologies and frameworks.
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform.
• Solid understanding of database management and optimization, particularly with SQL Server.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
