With a fast digital transformation path, now they are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (VMware focus) to join their IT team.
about the job.
• Provide support for VMWare across the APAC region, including on-premises, cloud environments, and HCI infrastructure.
• Configure, deploy, and implement VMWare, SRM, VSAN, RecoverPoint for VM, Citrix VDI, HCI-VxRail, and cloud environments like Azure and AWS.
• Ensure the stability, maintainability, and business continuity of infrastructure in all technical environments.
• Document all system, application, and security changes, upgrades, and new implementations.
• Identify and address potential weaknesses or problems in systems, managing complex troubleshooting and incident resolution events.
• Collaborate closely with other teams for the setup of new technology solutions and deployment of proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Conduct Disaster Recovery Drills to test system recovery processes.
• Keep security patches updated and ensure compliance with security auditing requirements.

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in implementing IT solutions and integrating systems.
• Possess experience in IT infrastructure or system monitoring administration and operation.
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise in VMWare 6.5/7, SRM, vCenter, RecoverPoint for VM, vsphere replication, vSAN, and Cloud operation (Azure and AWS).
• Have a strong working knowledge of UCS/HCI/VxRail hardware operation and administration.
• Preferably, have experience in Citrix VDI infrastructure.
• Possess VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) certification, if available.
• Proficiently work with VMWare-associated programs and coding languages, such as Windows Server, MS IIS, and SAN architecture.
• Have experience in scripting with languages like shell, bash, perl, and python
