The data and software development manager is adding a member to the team to work on a new website built. We have an immediate need for an experienced Web Developer on a collaborative Agile team. The role will involve developing multipage websites from scratch, making API calls, and upgrading and enhancing the website upon completion. The candidate should have a background in JavaScript development, experience working independently, and an interest to grow as an engineer while learning new skills. • Consult with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services or technical support
• Work with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications
• Develop frontend UI using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React libraries
• Build multipage websites from scratch
• Maintain and enhance the website once its built
• Make API calls and connect existing APIs to the website
• Collaborate with an Agile development team
• Work with newer technologies around React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, WebAPIs, and more Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or higher in an Engineering or Science field, or related work experience
• Ability to communicate effectively to multiple teams
• Experience with building websites from scratch
• Experience with React and JavaScript
• Experience with HTML and CSS
• Experience working independently
• Software and Data Engineering knowledge and understanding of common terminology
• Ability to work remotely
