Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge iOS applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define software requirements and specifications.
• Incorporate standards and best practices, including performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in an agile team to deliver the full lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Swift and Objective-C.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across the team.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Support O&M and other patching activities.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience with iOS app engineering, understanding of the ecosystem, and strong knowledge of iOS development (Swift) and integration with 3rd Party.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Proven track record of developing and releasing iOS applications.
• Solid understanding of the iOS ecosystem, including Xcode, Interface Builder, and iOS SDK.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Technical Skillsets:
Good experience in native iOS app development exposure with cross-platform working experience.
Possesses strong CS fundamentals, including Data Structures and algorithms. Strong sense of design and user-centered perspective. Sound knowledge of security by design technologies such as encryption, SSL cert integration, AWS cookies, MFA authentications, OAuth, OWASP Top Ten, and industry standards.
• Programming Languages: Swift, Objective C, React, React JS
• IDE: Xcode, iOS SDKs, iOS Playground, Android Studio, Visual Studio Code
• Web Services Handling: REST/SOAP-based web services, AJAX and JSON
• API's Used: APigee, Google & Flurry Analytics, Openssl (RSA Encryption/Decryption, AES Encryption, Decryption), KeychainAccess, GooglePlus,
• Notifications: Push Notifications, Local Notifications.
• Source code control systems: Git, SVN, or CVS
• Good experience with DevOps CI/CD tools such as git, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, or equivalents.
• Experience in AWS cloud engineering & implementation is a plus.
