Frontend Developer - Remote - £70k
Here at Venchr, we are currently seeking a talented front-end developer to join a collaborative team, working closely with QA Engineers, DevOps, and Product Owners. The current tech stack includes JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS. and Xamarin for Mobile Development.
As a front-end developer, you will focus on enhancing the UI of their applications, contributing to the improvement of the overall user experience, and implementing new features. they value a passion for building high-quality software, strong engineering principles, and the ability to thrive in an Agile environment.
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in building responsive websites/web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with React.
• Knowledge and experience of Design Patterns.
• Familiarity with development best practices.
• Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Effective communication with internal stakeholders and immediate team.
• Experience using GIT source control (Branching, Pull Requests, Merge, and rebase).
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile practices.
• Comfortable working in a green field site with rapid iteration and changes.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Desirable
• Experience building web applications in a microservices environment.
• Experience or knowledge in TDD unit testing.
• Experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of NoSql databases (e.g., MongoDb).
• Writing code in C# for web and mobile applications and services
