As the Enterprise Application Architect you will focus on Global Alignment which is pivotal in maintaining and aligning the local application landscape with the headquarters' global applications. You will need a deep understanding of both the local business processes and the strategic direction of global IT initiatives. The primary objective is to transition local applications and systems to standardized global applications to streamline operations, reduce costs, and ensure consistency across the organization.RESPONSIBILITIES Areas that play to your strengths All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: Expand all • Application Management You will evaluate the existing local application portfolio to identify opportunities for consolidation into the global application architecture. You will work closely with local and global stakeholders to understand business processes and ensure that the headquarters' applications meet local business needs. • Application Development You will collaborate with application development and implementation teams to ensure successful integration of global applications into local environments. • Compliance You will ensure compliance with global governance, data privacy, and security policies throughout the application migration process. • Collaboration You will act as a liaison between local businesses and global IT to facilitate effective communication and alignment of IT strategies. You will also provide expert guidance on the application architecture to local IT teams, assisting in resolving any issues that arise during application transitions. • Emerging Technologies You will monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities to enhance the global application architecture. EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: • Expertise in frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman to guide the systematic planning, design, and implementation of enterprise architecture • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including agile and waterfall methodologies • Skills in integrating disparate systems, potentially including legacy systems, into a cohesive architecture that aligns with global standards • Proficiency in cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and architectures (public, private, hybrid), and the ability to migrate applications to cloud environments • Knowledge of data architecture, databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with an emphasis on ensuring data integrity during application migrations. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
