In this role, you will report to Head of Product Services Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) and will work closely with Senior Product Manager to effectively manage product services including Non-Trading Entities (trusts and SMSF), Single / Joint Accounts, 2 to sign, Dormancy, Deceased Estates; Power of Attorney, Authority to Operate and all integral in delivering business objectives. Your main responsibilities will include: • End to end product management / lifecycle of the product services across Deposits and Mortgage customers • Review existing processes and implement improvements to simplify the process for both our customers and frontline staff and operations teams • Distribution channel optimisation • Ensure documentation of processes, global policies and procedures are in place and maintained. This includes the mapping of business processes with the appropriate controls and obligaitons • Implement tactical process improvements to improve the customer experience • Maintaining key relationships with business stakeholders (marketing, digital, distribution, compliance and IT) • Collateral management in relation to deposits products (forms and public website) Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field with relevant experience in a Product Management / Project Management function in financial services, preference for retail banking experience • Comprehensive knowledge of the external environment (risk, regulatory, political, competitors etc.). • Thorough understanding of retail deposit operations, pertinent regulations impacting retail banking • Excellent communication skills and proven stakeholder-facing experience, ideally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Strong ability to use numerical data to develop tactical plans within the broad context of strategic plans and change them as warranted by results. Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
