Join our group of architects, submit a resume and work samples PDF Seeking an experienced Project Architect/ Project Manager, team player with a positive attitude. The Project Architect will be working on governmental agency projects and implement our passion to improve the public realm. The Architect works closely with the Client and the Principal to implement project design requirements. As a Project Architect, you will have the following responsibilities: • Research client requirements including program, guidelines,& standards. • Architect to perform comprehensive code and product research. • Lead projects from initial survey, design through construction • Lead the development of design concepts and presentations that clearly express the project goals and ideas. • Prepare feasibility studies, and scope reports • Lead the production of construction documents and NYCDOB drawings. • Architect to provide technical support to team members and produce high level technical documents. • Coordination with other disciplines, collaborators & engineers in the production of drawings • Architect to prepare project specifications • Architect to review shop drawings and construction progress • Supervise and mentor small teams of junior designers • Experienced architect working within project budgets and schedule Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture min. • 5-10 years’ experience in Architectural Design in K-12 Higher Ed, commercial and public sector projects • Proficiency in software such as Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office • Effective writer, communicator, detailed oriented designer • Architect to work independently and/or collaboratively with staff and clients on multiple projects • Architect proficient with International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA and related standards • Familiarity with building types such as education, commercial, industrial, and government a plus Benefits Program • Healthcare insurance coverage • Flexible paid time off • Professional development • Annual bonus pay • Incentive compensation for eligible positions • Salary range $80,000-$100,000 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off Compensation package: • Semiannual bonus Experience level: • 5 years Schedule: • Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: • New York, NY 10119: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
