About This Location: Our Home Office is located in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps away from Jane Subway station. This role is a hybrid position with the requirement to attend the office on an as-needed basis. About this role: As a Technical Lead at Arbor Memorial, you will function as a developer as well as a delivery lead with focus on project planning, effort estimation, establishing timelines, and engaging architecture team(s) for design verification. You will also be responsible for providing technical leadership as well as participating in developing and maintaining the software applications for proprietary Arbor systems including applications and tools used by company staff in customer-facing and back-office circumstances. Building on your solid understanding developing and maintaining reusable libraries, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain systems for; point of sale, contract management, payment processing, service management, inventory management, product management and compensation management systems. Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities: • A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in application programming and software development. • 3+ year diploma / degree in technology or related discipline. • Excellent knowledge of object oriented programming and solid experience with Microsoft .NET Platform. • Further, experience with X++ programming and understanding of Microsoft D365 ERP data entities with be strongly favoured. • Understanding of UI development tools would be considered an asset. • Strong working knowledge of development testing methodologies (unit testing, integration testing). • Technical understanding of Impersonation, authentication, SOA, WebAPI, Microservices will be an asset. • Understanding of API description languages such as WSDL, WADL, RAML, Swagger will be an asset. • Understanding of or experience with NoSQL databases will be considered an asset. • Experience with or sound understanding of mobile application development will be an asset. • Demonstrated professional experience working on large highly performant enterprise level projects and web applications.
