Experience as Database Administrator in SQL Server Environment
Support database sizes about 200GB to 2TB in size
Support multiple instances of SQL 2000-SQL 2014 in production environment with components including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Clusters.
Design and document processes and procedures, database migration plans, database upgrade plans as per business requirements.
Database Management and database monitoring using tools such as DMVs, PerfMon, Profiler, Extended Events, third party tools such as Spotlight, Foglight , Performance Analyzer, Redgate SQL Monitor, Idera Diagnostic Manager, Idera SQLSafe , Litespeed
Powershell, C# or .NET Scripting is a plus
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detailed-oriented, results-driven, highly energetic and motivated.
• Able to communicate efficiently and effectively to technical and non technical audiences.
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive and able to prioritize a large number of tasks.
• Experienced with SQL installation on standalone and cluster servers across multi-subnet environments
• AWS/Microsoft Azure Services, Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, Windows Server Administration.
