· University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering / Information Technology Systems or equivalent
· Minimum of 5 years' of hands-on experience with Network design, deployment and support
· Experience with Cisco, HP and Palo Alto network solutions
· Cisco CCIE certification desirable
· Expert knowledge of IP routing and switching
· Expert knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing
· Track record of continuous operational process improvement and implementation
· Extensive experience with enterprise firewall design, implementation, and maintenance; including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and F5 firewalls.
· Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco Nexus, 3750, 3850, 2960 series switches and ASR1000 series routers
· Experience with any of these wireless solutions: Ruckus, Aruba, Meraki or Cisco
· Experience with IPS solutions, preferably with Palo Alto and F5 ASM
· Have a propensity towards action and making quick decisions after considering opposing viewpoints.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong technical background
· Experience in supporting and operating converged networks which should include the following: IP, MPLS, Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP and Wireless-based technology.
· Project management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· MS Office Product Experience
· Expert technical documentation skills
