Following a successful acquisition, the firm has been awarded a major contract with prevalent US retail corporations to upgrade their cloud and data capabilities.
The Android Engineer will work cross-functionally to advance the architecture and develop code for their customer-facing app. Ideal candidates are DevOps inclined with a strong background in Ci/CD pipeline development.
This is a full-time permanent role with opportunities for contract to hire. Sponsorship opportunities are not available at this time. Remote options are available for out-of-state candidates. Hybrid options are available for those located in Phoenix, AZ.
Experience Required
• Proven success working with distributed design, product and data teams
• 7+ years designing/ developing Android Mobile applications
• Modern Android frameworks (Jetpack compose and Kotlin)
• Success building in test from the start with TDD development experience.
• Mobile Ci/CD, code review, static analysis, automation, and functional testing
• Crashlytics tools
• Deployment Pipelines
• MVVM (Model-ViewViewModel), MVI (ModelView-Intent) & MVP
• Network Library Integration
• Rally/Jeera
• Espresso
• Coroutines
• mockito or junit
Preferred Skills:
• GraphQL and BFF (Backend for FrontEnd)
• Android tools, frameworks, Reactive Programming and Design Systems libraries
• 3rd party framework and SDKs
• OAuth and tokens
• Modularized app build systems (Gradle, custom plugins)
• Static and Dynamic Analyzers: Android lint, ktlint, Custom Rules
