Position Overview:
As a Web Designer/Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative websites and web applications that not only look great but also deliver results for our clients’ objectives. You'll work closely with our creative and strategy teams to translate client needs into functional, aesthetically pleasing user-friendly websites and implement tracking/reporting processes that inform stakeholders and uncover actionable improvement insights.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement visually appealing, responsive websites and landing pages.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies with optimizations for maximum load speed and scalability.
• Work closely with the creative team to ensure the visual design communicates the desired message.
• Collaborate with strategy teams to integrate SEO best practices and enhance the website's marketing effectiveness.
• Create and monitor Google Analytics tags and performance reporting.
• Perform website testing across multiple browsers and platforms to ensure consistency.
• Update and maintain existing client websites, ensuring content is current and functionality meets user needs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and communicate progress effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and apply them to your work to keep our agency at the forefront of digital design.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in web design and development with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with PHP, Laravel, Ruby, and/or Python.
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla) and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
