un:hurd is a music-tech platform that uses proprietary technology to turn music data into stronger promotional campaigns for artists. We've created our mobile app, the 'digital marketing companion' for independent artists and are on our way to creating an ecosystem where artists can create, distribute and promote in one space.
For years, artists have been 'shooting in the dark' when it comes to their marketing. There's a clear lack of robust, transparent and accessible marketing tools for musicians and artists to use to promote their music. We've spent the last 18 months proving our concept by working on campaigns with some of the most exciting artists in the world and we’re now looking to scale upon our initial traction.

After a successful global launch of our iOS app, we’re looking for a dedicated, passionate and talented Senior iOS Developer to grow with us and deliver a market-leading product to ‘level the playing field’ for independent artists and record labels.
Responsibilities 📝
As a Senior iOS Developer at un:hurd you will::
• Develop, iterate on, and ship the un:hurd iOS app.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to define and create new features.
• Contribute to technical discussions involving product strategy and tech team direction.
• Monitor iOS app performance, addressing and managing any bugs and issues as they arise.
• Investigate, evaluate, and implement new technologies within the iOS app.
• Roll up your sleeves and get stuck in - we’re a small team with big ambitions!
Essential Requirements 🧐
• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• High proficiency in Swift and UIKit.
• Experience with architectural design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, etc.
• Knowledge of reactive programming and experience using a reactive framework for Swift (We use Combine).
• Experience interacting with and helping to design REST APIs.
• Experience with unit testing and the XCTest framework.
• Familiarity with Swift Package Manager.
Nice to haves 👊
• Experience with third party development and analysis tools and services such as Firebase, Azure Cloud Services, Mixpanel.
• Knowledge and experience of collaboration and project management tools (e.g. Jira).
• Experience in CI/CD for mobile development.
• Experience with SwiftUI.

Location: This is a remote or hybrid role. We have an office in London at Tileyard creative industries hub should you want to use that space. Our team is spread across the UK, we meet regularly via video calls but occasionally (once or twice a quarter) meet at our London office - if you are required to travel we will cover all costs.
