• 8+ years of experience • Relationships with the tech and government sectors • Greater China exposure is a plus 1. Incubation • Design the admission criteria and build the start-up community by recruiting prospect incubates and start-ups across geographies including HK, China and overseas. • Develop strategies and operating model of the incubation function. • Design, build or work with partners, to operate the best-of-breed incubation and acceleration programs to support the start-up community. 2. Value chain partnerships • Build a value added ecosystem to support the start-up community to address their growth and development needs, including but not limited to talent, funding, product commercialization, legal and regulatory, manufacturing and production. • Collaborate with universities and research institutes in Hong Kong, China and all over the world to collaborate on R&D effort, enable knowledge exchange and talent development. • Develop partnership with international ecosystem builders, chambers, associations, trade agencies to enable business matchings, knowledge exchange and professional training. • Analyze and understand the business needs of incubates, grow the incubates with customized support and resource. 3. Talent support and professional development • Work with universities and R&D institutes to develop professional training and sharing activities to create an efficient learning and knowledge exchange environment. • Design and develop mentorship programs. 4. Technology adoption support • Liaise and coordinate with local and overseas tech ventures, corporates, and channel partners in order to facilitate go-to-market activities for incubates and start-ups to commercialize their R&D outcome. Job Requirements • University degree in any discipline with MBA a plus • Minimum 8 years’ solid experience in managing technology partner programs and/or marketing projects • Experience in negotiating and partnering with technology providers, Government, digital tech associations and academic institutions • Passionate in science, technology innovation and early-stage investment • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) • Proven ability to gain maximum value with external partnerships, with effective people management and account management skills • Mature and independent, a strong team player, analytic-mind, self-motivated and results driven If you would like to apply for this role or find out more, please contact on +852 2847 9959 or apply online with your latest CV in Word format including your current and expected salary.
