Day-to-day:
Insight Global is looking for an AWS Back-end Developer to support a major Healthcare Insurance client, remotely. This individual will be joining an assignment to support Phase 1 of a Facets integration project until April and could be extended for later phases of the multi-phase project. The Developer will be responsible for back-end integration work for a provider data management system, Facets. Our client is integrating with Facets to get new healthcare providers and their updates in their systems, mainly around enrollment. This person is part of the efforts to build a service that will interact with Facets to allow members access to what they can enroll in based on location, and will be able to pull providers no longer with the client to allow the healthcare insurance client to move members to new primary care providers. It’s important that this person taking on this role has experience with back-end development for provider, member, or subscriber enrollment with a focus on in-bound data for provider integration. If this person doesn’t have experience working in Facets directly, our client would also consider someone who has experience in healthcare if they have the above experience. The developer’s scope of work goes up to the unit testing phase, so is primarily focused on development itself using AWS tools in Enterprise Docker, GitHub, and Jenkins. This person will need to develop Lambda functions and use AWS Glue for ETL. They’ll also be using Nodejs, Terraform infrastructure as code tools, and SQL for querying the database from the back-end
