Ecommerce Product Manager – Premierinn.com
Working with the Ecommerce Team and beyond, you’ll be understanding how and why we do what we do and look to drive change to make things, quicker, slicker and better for the business and our guests.
You’ll need to have a strategic mindset and likely used to working optimisation, change and transformation activity (within a medium to large business that takes on revenue through digital channels, a business that has at least £100m turnover).
You’ll have a forward-thinking mindset, so looking at the ‘as is’ and the ‘to be’. Your findings and recommendations will help towards change activity. You’ll be working with tech teams to talk through requirements, through to Commercial, Marketing and Analytical teams to talk through site performance. You’ll be involved in the campaigns and use your creative side to support the design process. This role will have 1x direct report, however you don’t have to have managed anyone before but have the desire and interest to do so.
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000

What you’ll do
• Create Ecommerce strategy Identify and prioritise opportunities using the wide range of analytical systems available and customer feedback
• Launch new features, optimise platform and personalise experiences
• Support acquisition and SEO through website improvements
• Launch new products (room types, rates, ancillaries) and maximise revenue generation through them
• Support campaigns through landing page and homepage activity
• Awareness of latest regulatory changes, trends and innovations
• Define and improve repeatable and scalable processes
What we need
• Understanding of retail ecommerce and marketing.
• Understanding of product development cycle.
• Proven track record of delivering within a commercial environment.
• Experience working in an Ecommerce business (retail or travel)
• Experience bringing products or features to market
• Highly numerate, ability to quickly draw conclusions from data and translate for stakeholders.
• Ability to translate strategies and goals into detailed plans and requirements for technology teams.
• Strong appreciation for design and usability, with an instinct for what will work in an Ecommerce environment.
