Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced SVP AI to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and deploying cutting-edge computer vision models for food and agriculture quality check/quality assurance. Your responsibilities will include optimizing and deploying models on various platforms, exploring and analysing image data, designing and implementing advanced algorithms, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams. A strong background in computer vision, MLOps, and proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and OpenCV is required. WHAT DOES THIS JOB ENTAIL? • Develop the next generation of industrial solutions for food and agriculture quality check/quality assurance using computer vision techniques. • Collaborate with our world-class team of hardware and software engineers and business teams to deploy innovative solutions. • Deploy commercially viable solutions for renowned customers. • Improve our industry-leading results and guide future products to production. • Document your work in a structured manner, emphasizing knowledge sharing. • Take a leadership role in coaching staff. • Work in an iterative PDCA style on relatively short development cycles. WHAT EXACTLY WOULD YOU BE DOING? As a key member of our small and versatile team, you will: • Develop and deploy computer vision models on mobile or static edge devices and AWS, optimizing them to meet customer requirements and allowing for future improvements. • Explore and analyze unstructured data, specifically images, through image processing techniques. • Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced transfer and inference engine techniques and algorithms to enable quick deployment of AI models. • Build reinforcement learning models to facilitate continuous learning in production environments. • Employ innovative problem-solving strategies post-inference of neural networks. • Design and implement object fusion and sensor fusion algorithms using AI methods, integrating and performing perception tests. • Conduct research and development, exploring newer and better neural networks, such as the VID network, and implementing them in production. • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary software and hardware engineers to integrate your algorithms into resource-constrained computational systems. • Test and debug your code and features to ensure quality and usability. • Assist the customer support team by addressing technical questions to provide the best user experience. • Make significant contributions to client's important product development goals. • Collaborate with the business team to define user requirement details and provide input on feasibility and difficulty estimation. WHAT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE? • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields OR an impressive portfolio of computer vision work. • 10+ years of experience in computer vision. • Familiarity with camera sensors and lens optics, including relevant equations. • Strong MLOps experience. • In-depth knowledge of Python, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and OpenCV. • Experience with Docker, Bash, and Git. • Proficiency in data structures and algorithms in Python. • Ability to transform research articles into practical solutions to solve real-world problems. • Proficient in state-of-the-art object detection algorithms. • Previous experience in building commercially deployed computer vision systems. • Comfortable with Linux development environment. • Strong engineering test and debug skills as well as version controlling skills for complex real-time systems. • Ability and desire to develop Job Type: Full-time Salary: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year Application question(s): • Can you describe your experience in developing computer vision models for industrial applications? • Have you worked on optimizing computer vision models to meet customer requirements and improve them based on additional customer needs? • Can you discuss your experience in analyzing unstructured data, particularly in image processing? • Have you developed and deployed advanced transfer and inference engine techniques and algorithms for quick deployment of AI models?
