Lead Software Engineer, Front End (JavaScript) - Job Opportunity at Capital One

What You'll Do:
- Work with a team experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems
- Develop Front End Applications using a test-driven development approach
- Lead the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems
- Stay up-to-date with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and actively participate in technology communities
- Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans with financial tools
- Utilize programming languages like JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, and Java, as well as open source frameworks and RESTful web services
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience not applicable)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 1+ years of people management experience
- 2+ years of Agile practices experience

Salary Information:
- New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $197,400 - $225,300 for Lead Software Engineer
- Salary information for other locations will be provided in the candidate's offer letter
