As a Game Developer, you will be part of our growing Engineering team, working with the product team and our clients to deliver immersive, playful and genuinely innovative experiences.
We're looking for developers who can work in small, close-knit, cross-functional teams and take ownership of groundbreaking projects with cutting-edge technology.
This is a hybrid role that requires the flexibility to spend 2-3 days in our Finsbury Park Studio, and reports to the Head of Engineering.

Create (and iterate on) Technical Design Documents for Client Review.
Write efficient, robust and reusable code that meets the coding standards.
Demonstrate clear communication with the other team members on a project; this includes communicating progress, flagging technical risks and blockers, managing technical expectations, and eliciting and exchanging help or feedback.
Provide clear documentation on a project to ensure everyone is on the same page, knowledge is shared, and to facilitate ease of onboarding, handovers and additional phases of development.
Be introduced and start meeting weekly with your onboarding Buddy, there to help you settle in.
Get introduced to your first PRELOADED project and completion of a mini-brief to ease you into the product team.

Be deeply involved in your project, taking ownership of the technical requirements and development of the project.
Working with the project team, creative lead and other disciplines to outline the technical requirements, aligned to audience and business requirements.
Broaden your knowledge across diverse areas of game development and emerging technologies, through workshops and discussions with the wider Engineering team.
Have presented your work during the company showcase and championed the project from a technical perspective.
Contributed to our own internal code libraries to allow us to reuse core systems across projects and accelerate our technical processes - disseminated through team workshops and Lunch n Learn sessions.
First things first, you will meet the Head of Engineering and a senior member of the Engineering team for a 1 hour chat to assess how your experience and skills meet the role outlined, and what you can bring to the team.
